The basic data of the Benq SP831 includes 4000 ANSI lumens, a resolution of WXGA 1280 x 768 as well as a contrast of 2000:1. In operating mode, the installed projector lamp offers a lifespan of 3000 hours. To ensure a rectangular image even with asymmetrical placement, the projector includes digital keystone correction for both the horizontal and vertical axes. Looking at practical performance, up to 643 cm can be illuminated with 4000 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 429 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P are supported. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. The projector was released in 2007 and is officially no longer distributed by Benq.
