The MS521 model is a 3D-BrilliantColor-DLP projector from Benq, intended for Standard-Portabel applications, offering 3000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 13000:1 at SVGA 800 x 600. The runtime of the lamp in this model is estimated at 4500 hours before a replacement is necessary. A daily usage of 2 hours makes an operational lifespan of 6.2 years possible. Regarding projection size, the value of 3000 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 477 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 318 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content as well as 3D. Since entering the market in 2013, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
