The Benq LU935 is a 3D-DLP projector that brings 6000 ANSI lumens, a WUXGA 1920 x 1200 resolution alongside a contrast of 3000000:1. Using this laser phosphor technology, the light source runtime is rated at 20000 hours. With four hours of daily operation, this corresponds to a period of 13.7 years. Thanks to the combination of optical lens shift and digital keystone correction, the projected image's position can be adjusted very flexibly. The Lens Shift Calculator helps find the optimal installation dimensions. With its short projection distance, the short-throw model excels in smaller rooms, requiring only 272 cm of wall distance for an image width of 2 meters. Regarding projection size, the value of 6000 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 787 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 525 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content and 4K as well as 3D. An additional 360° projection capability allows the device to be oriented at almost any angle. The model is perfectly equipped for complex installations: In addition to the RJ45 jack for network administration, an HDBaseT port is available, transporting high-resolution AV signals over a single Cat cable. This model dates back to 2020 and is no longer part of Benq's current product range.
