Based on DLP technology, the Benq MX525 device delivers 3200 ANSI lumens, a resolution of XGA 1024 x 768 and a contrast of 13000:1 as a projector. The manufacturer specifies a runtime of 4500 hours for this projector's lamp, achieving a lifespan of 6.2 years when used for 2 hours a day. Looking at practical performance, up to 493 cm can be illuminated with 3200 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 329 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content as well as 3D. Since entering the market in 2016, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
