Behind the name LK954ST is a 3D-DLP projector by Benq, whose main features include 5100 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 3000000:1 and a UHD (4K2K) 3840 x 2160 resolution. With its laser unit, the projector offers a specified light lifespan of 20000 hours, covering an estimated 13.7 years based on a 4-hour daily runtime. Both optical image shifting (lens shift) and digital keystone adjustment are included, enabling exact alignment on the screen. Accurate distances are provided by the Projection Calculator. Looking at practical performance, up to 726 cm can be illuminated with 5100 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 484 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P and 4K as well as 3D, meaning standard Blu-ray formats are processed effortlessly. The model is perfectly equipped for complex installations: In addition to the RJ45 jack for network administration, an HDBaseT port is available, transporting high-resolution AV signals over a single Cat cable. Since entering the market in 2023, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
