According to Panasonic, the PT-RZ970 E/U/ model provides 9400 ANSI lumens, a contrast ratio of 10000:1 alongside a WUXGA 1920 x 1200 resolution. With its built-in laser light source, the projector achieves a manufacturer-stated lifespan of 20000 hours, covering an estimated 13.7 years based on a 4-hour daily runtime. The projector is offered by the manufacturer in both white and black housing variants. Both optical image shifting (lens shift) and digital keystone adjustment are included, enabling exact alignment on the screen. For maximum setup flexibility, the model supports optional interchangeable lenses, meaning the optics can be precisely matched to individual on-site requirements. Suitable distances can be determined using the Projector Calculator. A look at the light output reveals: The 9400 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 985 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 657 cm. Should very large projection surfaces be required, the integrated edge-blending software offers the possibility to seamlessly combine images from multiple projectors without visible seams. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P. An additional 360° projection capability allows the device to be oriented at almost any angle. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. The projector was released in 2016 and is officially no longer distributed by Panasonic. In our projector directory, the device still generates high interest.
