The Panasonic PT L701XSDE is a LCD projector offering 1200 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 500:1 and a resolution of XGA 1024 x 768. The manufacturer rates the durability of the included lamp at 2000 hours. A major advantage for professional installations is the ability to use interchangeable lenses, allowing the projector to adapt to highly varied projection distances. Which optic is required for a specific case can easily be calculated via the Lens Calculator. Regarding projection size, the value of 1200 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 302 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 201 cm. Also on board is a local media player that allows reading and playing content directly from storage media. Regarding noise emissions, the model proves to be exceptionally quiet during operation, producing just 28 decibels. Since entering the market in 2001, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
