Designed for the Stationary sector, the PT-EX800Z model from Panasonic features 7500 ANSI lumens, a native XGA 1024 x 768 resolution and a contrast ratio of 5000:1. The runtime of the lamp in this model is estimated at 3000 hours before a replacement is necessary. For distortion-free image alignment, the projector offers both a lens shift function and keystone correction, granting significant leeway during mounting. The specifications identify the device as a model with an interchangeable lens option. Matching optional optics allow for exact adaptation to the required image size and projection distance, which can be calculated directly with the Projection Calculator. Looking at practical performance, up to 754 cm can be illuminated with 7500 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 503 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P are supported. An additional 360° projection capability allows the device to be oriented at almost any angle. The model is perfectly equipped for complex installations: In addition to the RJ45 jack for network administration, an HDBaseT port is available, transporting high-resolution AV signals over a single Cat cable. The projector was released in 2013 and is officially no longer distributed by Panasonic.
