Behind the name PT DS20K2 is a 3D-DLP projector by Panasonic, whose main features include 20000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 10000:1 and a SXGA+ 1400 x 1050 resolution. The manufacturer specifies a runtime of 3000 hours for this projector's lamp. Thanks to the combination of optical lens shift and digital keystone correction, the projected image's position can be adjusted very flexibly. The specifications identify the device as a model with an interchangeable lens option. Matching optional optics allow for exact adaptation to the required image size and projection distance, which can be calculated directly with the Projector Calculator. Regarding projection size, the value of 20000 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 1232 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 821 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P as well as 3D. An additional 360° projection capability allows the device to be oriented at almost any angle. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. The projector was released in 2015 and is officially no longer distributed by Panasonic. In our projector directory, the device still generates high interest.
