The PT DZ870 model is a 3D-DLP projector from Panasonic, intended for Stationary applications, offering 8500 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 10000:1 at WUXGA 1920 x 1200. The runtime of the lamp in this model is estimated at 2000 hours before a replacement is necessary. Regarding setup flexibility, the model features an optical lens shift function alongside digital keystone correction, allowing for precise alignment without distortion. The optical system is designed for the use of interchangeable lenses, allowing for a tailor-made configuration for almost any throw ratio. The Lens Calculator is available to calculate the exact dimensions. Regarding projection size, the value of 8500 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 937 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 625 cm. Should very large projection surfaces be required, the integrated edge-blending software offers the possibility to seamlessly combine images from multiple projectors without visible seams. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P as well as 3D. An additional 360° projection capability allows the device to be oriented at almost any angle. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. Since entering the market in 2013, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model. However, it remains frequently searched within our database.
