A projector from Panasonic is the PT RQ22K, whose Laser-DLP model delivers 21000 ANSI lumens, a resolution of WQXGA 2560 x 1600 and a contrast of 20000:1. Using this laser phosphor technology, the light source runtime is rated at 20000 hours – calculating to 13.7 years at four hours of use per day. Both optical image shifting (lens shift) and digital keystone adjustment are included, enabling exact alignment on the screen. The specifications identify the device as a model with an interchangeable lens option. Matching optional optics allow for exact adaptation to the required image size and projection distance, which can be calculated directly with the Projection Calculator. Regarding projection size, the value of 21000 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 1262 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 841 cm. Should very large projection surfaces be required, the integrated edge-blending software offers the possibility to seamlessly combine images from multiple projectors without visible seams. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content. Furthermore, the model supports 360° projections for highly flexible deployment scenarios. Regarding professional networking, the device offers a classic RJ45 LAN port for control alongside HDBaseT for the lossless transmission of picture and sound over long distances. This model dates back to 2018 and is no longer part of Panasonic's current product range. This model continues to hold a solid place in our database search queries.
