A projector from Panasonic is the PT-RZ890 /L/E/U/, whose 3D-LED-DLP model delivers 8800 ANSI lumens, a resolution of WUXGA 1920 x 1200 and a contrast of 10000:1. The laser technology ensures a specified light source lifespan of up to 20000 hours – calculating to 13.7 years at four hours of use per day. You can choose between black and white for the housing color. Both optical image shifting (lens shift) and digital keystone adjustment are included, enabling exact alignment on the screen. For maximum setup flexibility, the model supports optional interchangeable lenses, meaning the optics can be precisely matched to individual on-site requirements. Suitable distances can be determined using the Lens Calculator. Regarding projection size, the value of 8800 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 953 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 635 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content as well as 3D. An additional 360° projection capability allows the device to be oriented at almost any angle. Regarding professional networking, the device offers a classic RJ45 LAN port for control alongside HDBaseT for the lossless transmission of picture and sound over long distances. The projector was released in 2020 and is officially no longer distributed by Panasonic.
