The hardware properties of the PT L501E manufactured by Panasonic include 1100 ANSI lumens, a SVGA 800 x 600 resolution and a contrast value of 200:1. In operating mode, the installed projector lamp offers a lifespan of 2000 hours. The optical system is designed for the use of interchangeable lenses, allowing for a tailor-made configuration for almost any throw ratio. The Lens Calculator is available to calculate the exact dimensions. Looking at practical performance, up to 289 cm can be illuminated with 1100 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 193 cm. A look at the data sheet confirms a very subtle fan noise for the projector at just 28 decibels. The projector was released in 2000 and is officially no longer distributed by Panasonic.
