The EMP W5D model is a LCD projector from Epson, intended for Standard-Portabel applications, offering 1200 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 1000:1 at HDTV 1280 x 720. The manufacturer lists the lamp life at 2000 hours. To facilitate room installation, the device is equipped with mechanical lens shift and additional keystone correction. Precise setup distances can be determined in the Projection Calculator. Looking at practical performance, up to 352 cm can be illuminated with 1200 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 235 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P. Also on board is a local media player that allows reading and playing content directly from storage media. This model dates back to 2008 and is no longer part of Epson's current product range.

Same as TWD 10
Have had the device for a few days and am completely satisfied with it. It‘s practically the same model as the TWD 10 but plain white and without a screen, the colors look very natural and the fill rate of the pixels is really good. The pixel structure is barely noticeable even at close range, and the horizontal and vertical lens shift function makes the device very flexible in terms of positioning. All in all, a very good device that is now available at a reasonable price.
