With the EB-L690SU, Epson offers a LED-LCD projector that features 6200 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 5000000:1 and a resolution of WUXGA 1920 x 1200. This is a laser projector with a light source designed to last for 30000 hours – calculating to 20.5 years at four hours of use per day. Thanks to the combination of optical lens shift and digital keystone correction, the projected image's position can be adjusted very flexibly. The Lens Shift Calculator helps find the optimal installation dimensions. The short-throw capabilities allow for large images at a short projection distance. According to specifications, a 2-meter wide image requires a distance of only 158 cm. A look at the light output reveals: The 6200 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 800 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 533 cm. Should very large projection surfaces be required, the integrated edge-blending software offers the possibility to seamlessly combine images from multiple projectors without visible seams. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content. Furthermore, the model supports 360° projections for highly flexible deployment scenarios. The model is perfectly equipped for complex installations: In addition to the RJ45 jack for network administration, an HDBaseT port is available, transporting high-resolution AV signals over a single Cat cable. Since the projector supports Miracast and Airplay screen mirroring, video signals can also be streamed wirelessly from the end device.
