The Epson EB 1940W is a LCD projector offering 4200 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 3000:1 and a resolution of WXGA 1280 x 800. According to Epson, the included lamp lasts up to 2500 hours. Should a perpendicular setup to the screen not be possible, the integrated keystone correction (horizontal and vertical) helps to realign the image into a perfect rectangle. Looking at practical performance, up to 658 cm can be illuminated with 4200 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 439 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content. Also on board is a local media player that allows reading and playing content directly from storage media. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. This model dates back to 2012 and is no longer part of Epson's current product range. As an archive device, the projector remains highly relevant in our database.
