Based on LCD technology, the Epson EB-960W device delivers 3800 ANSI lumens, a resolution of WXGA 1280 x 800 and a contrast of 15000:1 as a projector. According to Epson, the included lamp lasts up to 6000 hours, which amounts to roughly 8.2 years at 2 hours of daily use. Should a perpendicular setup to the screen not be possible, the integrated keystone correction (horizontal and vertical) helps to realign the image into a perfect rectangle. Looking at practical performance, up to 626 cm can be illuminated with 3800 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 417 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content. The built-in HDMI-MHL (Mobile High-Definition Link) port enables screen mirroring from a smartphone while simultaneously charging it. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. This model dates back to 2017 and is no longer part of Epson's current product range.
