A projector from Epson is the EMP 820, whose LCD model delivers 2500 ANSI lumens, a resolution of XGA 1024 x 768 and a contrast of 400:1. The runtime of the lamp in this model is estimated at 1500 hours before a replacement is necessary. Should a perpendicular setup to the screen not be possible, the integrated keystone correction (horizontal and vertical) helps to realign the image into a perfect rectangle. Looking at practical performance, up to 435 cm can be illuminated with 2500 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 290 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P. The projector was released in 2002 and is officially no longer distributed by Epson.
