Based on LCD technology, the Epson EMP 5600 projects images in a Standard-Portabel environment, with technical specs listing 2200 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 300:1 and a SVGA 800 x 600 resolution. The manufacturer specifies a runtime of 1500 hours for this projector's lamp. For maximum setup flexibility, the model supports optional interchangeable lenses, meaning the optics can be precisely matched to individual on-site requirements. Suitable distances can be determined using the Projector Calculator. Regarding projection size, the value of 2200 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 408 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 272 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P are supported. The projector was released in 2000 and is officially no longer distributed by Epson.
