Categorized in the Stationary segment, the XT5000 projector from Nec projects with a XGA 1024 x 768 resolution, alongside 4500 ANSI lumens and a contrast of 400: 1. According to Nec, the lamp has a durability of 1500 hours. Both optical image shifting (lens shift) and digital keystone adjustment are included, enabling exact alignment on the screen. To meet a wide variety of installation conditions, the projector offers the option of using different interchangeable lenses. Verifying the respective distances is easily possible via the Projector Calculator. Regarding projection size, the value of 4500 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 584 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 389 cm. As an additional feature, an integrated media player enables the direct playback of files without an external source device. The projector was released in 2001 and is officially no longer distributed by Nec.
