According to Nec, the ME403U model provides 4200 ANSI lumens, a contrast ratio of 16000:1 alongside a WUXGA 1920 x 1200 resolution. According to Nec, the included lamp lasts up to 8000 hours, which amounts to roughly 11 years at 2 hours of daily use. To ensure a rectangular image even with asymmetrical placement, the projector includes digital keystone correction for both the horizontal and vertical axes. Looking at practical performance, up to 658 cm can be illuminated with 4200 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 439 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P are supported. Also on board is a local media player that allows reading and playing content directly from storage media. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. This model dates back to 2021 and is no longer part of Nec's current product range.
