The Nec M402W is a 3D-DLP projector that brings 4000 ANSI lumens, a WXGA 1280 x 800 resolution alongside a contrast of 10000:1. The manufacturer lists the lamp life at 3500 hours. Looking at practical performance, up to 643 cm can be illuminated with 4000 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 429 cm. Additionally, a built-in ambient light sensor measures the room lighting and automatically adjusts the projection settings. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P as well as 3D. Also on board is a local media player that allows reading and playing content directly from storage media. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. Equipped with a microphone jack and built-in speakers (20W), audio signals during presentations can be played back directly without an external audio system. Since entering the market in 2014, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
