Behind the name P525UL is a 3D-LCD projector by Nec, whose main features include 5000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 500000:1 and a WUXGA 1920 x 1200 resolution. The laser technology ensures a specified light source lifespan of up to 20000 hours. Daily use of 4 hours makes an operational lifespan of over 13.7 years possible. Regarding setup flexibility, the model features an optical lens shift function alongside digital keystone correction, allowing for precise alignment; exact values can be calculated using the Projector Calculator. A look at the light output reveals: The 5000 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 718 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 479 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content as well as 3D. Regarding professional networking, the device offers a classic RJ45 LAN port for control alongside HDBaseT for the lossless transmission of picture and sound over long distances. Regarding noise emissions, the model proves to be exceptionally quiet during operation, producing just 26 decibels. The projector was released in 2018 and is officially no longer distributed by Nec.
