According to Epson USA, the Pro L12000QNL model provides 12000 ANSI lumens, a contrast ratio of 2500000:1 alongside a UHD (4K2K) 3840 x 2160 resolution. With its built-in laser light source, the projector achieves a manufacturer-stated lifespan of 20000 hours. With four hours of daily operation, this corresponds to a period of 13.7 years. Both optical image shifting (lens shift) and digital keystone adjustment are included, enabling exact alignment on the screen. For maximum setup flexibility, the model supports optional interchangeable lenses, meaning the optics can be precisely matched to individual on-site requirements. Suitable distances can be determined using the Projector Calculator. Looking at practical performance, up to 1113 cm can be illuminated with 12000 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 742 cm. Should very large projection surfaces be required, the integrated edge-blending software offers the possibility to seamlessly combine images from multiple projectors without visible seams. For media input, video signals up to 1080P and 4K are supported, and also offers the technical capability for 360° projection. The model is perfectly equipped for complex installations: In addition to the RJ45 jack for network administration, an HDBaseT port is available, transporting high-resolution AV signals over a single Cat cable. Since entering the market in 2020, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model. However, it remains one of the frequently accessed models in our database.
