Equipped with LCD technology, the Epson USA PowerLite 435W offers 3000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 3000:1 and is designed as a versatile projector. The manufacturer rates the durability of the included lamp at 4000 hours, achieving a lifespan of 5.5 years when used for 2 hours a day. For basic image adjustment, the device is equipped with horizontal and vertical keystone correction, allowing digital compensation for trapezoidal distortion at angled projection setups. A special feature is the short-throw lens, which allows the device to be positioned at a very short distance from the screen. According to the data sheet, an image width of 2 meters is achieved from a distance of just 96 cm. Regarding projection size, the value of 3000 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 556 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 371 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P. As an additional feature, an integrated media player enables the direct playback of files without an external source device. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. Equipped with a microphone jack and built-in speakers (16W), audio signals during presentations can be played back directly without an external audio system. The projector was released in 2011 and is officially no longer distributed by Epson USA.
