Based on LCD technology, the Epson USA PowerLite Home Cinema 3000 device delivers 2500 ANSI lumens, a resolution of HDTV 1920 x 1080 and a contrast of 60000:1 as a projector. The manufacturer rates the durability of the included lamp at 3500 hours. Thanks to the combination of optical lens shift and digital keystone correction, the projected image's position can be adjusted very flexibly. The Lens Shift Calculator helps find the optimal installation dimensions. Looking at practical performance, up to 508 cm can be illuminated with 2500 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 339 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P as well as 3D. Thanks to MHL support, screen content from mobile devices can be transmitted via cable, including charging power for the device. This model dates back to 2014 and is no longer part of Epson USA's current product range.
