With the PowerLite 1830, Epson USA offers a LCD projector that features 3500 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 2000:1 and a resolution of XGA 1024 x 768. The manufacturer rates the durability of the included lamp at 2500 hours. Regarding projection size, the value of 3500 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 515 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 343 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P are supported. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. The projector was released in 2009 and is officially no longer distributed by Epson USA.
