The projector Home Cinema 5050UBe by Epson USA utilizes LCD technology and, according to the spec sheet, achieves 2600 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 1000000:1 at a resolution of UHD (4K2K) 3840 x 2160. The manufacturer lists the lamp life at 3500 hours. Both optical image shifting (lens shift) and digital keystone adjustment are included, enabling exact alignment on the screen. Accurate distances are provided by the Lens Shift Calculator. A look at the light output reveals: The 2600 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 518 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 345 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content and 4K as well as 3D, meaning standard Blu-ray formats are processed effortlessly. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. Since entering the market in 2019, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
