The equipment of the Epson USA BrightLink 760Wi projector includes 4100 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 2500000:1 with a WXGA 1280 x 800 display. This is a laser projector with a light source designed to last for 20000 hours – calculating to 13.7 years at four hours of use per day. For basic image adjustment, the device is equipped with horizontal and vertical keystone correction, allowing digital compensation for trapezoidal distortion at angled projection setups. A special feature is the short-throw lens, which allows the device to be positioned at a very short distance from the screen. According to the data sheet, an image width of 2 meters is achieved from a distance of just 540 cm. A look at the light output reveals: The 4100 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 651 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 434 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content as well as 3D. As an additional feature, an integrated media player enables the direct playback of files without an external source device. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance.
