Based on LCD technology, the 3M X95 projects images in a Stationary environment, with technical specs listing 5000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 1000:1 and a XGA 1024 x 768 resolution. According to 3M, the included lamp lasts up to 2000 hours. Both optical image shifting (lens shift) and digital keystone adjustment are included, enabling exact alignment on the screen. The optical system is designed for the use of interchangeable lenses, allowing for a tailor-made configuration for almost any throw ratio. The Projector Calculator is available to calculate the exact dimensions. Regarding projection size, the value of 5000 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 616 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 411 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P are supported. As an additional feature, an integrated media player enables the direct playback of files without an external source device. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. Since entering the market in 2008, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
