The equipment of the 3M MP 8765 projector includes 2500 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 350:1 with a XGA 1024 x 768 display. The manufacturer rates the durability of the included lamp at 1500 hours. For maximum setup flexibility, the model supports optional interchangeable lenses, meaning the optics can be precisely matched to individual on-site requirements. Suitable distances can be determined using the Projection Calculator. Looking at practical performance, up to 435 cm can be illuminated with 2500 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 290 cm. The projector was released in 2002 and is officially no longer distributed by 3M.
