Model Overview As a projector, the 3M MP 8670 combines LCD technology with a resolution of SVGA 800 x 600, and is additionally specified with 2000 ANSI lumens and a contrast of 200:1. According to 3M, the included lamp lasts up to 1500 hours.
Looking at practical performance, up to 389 cm can be illuminated with 2000 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 259 cm.
The projector was released in 1999 and is officially no longer distributed by 3M.
