As a projector, the 3M Super Close Projection System SCP740 combines DLP technology with a resolution of WXGA 1280 x 800, and is additionally specified with 2600 ANSI lumens and a contrast of 1600:1. According to 3M, the included lamp lasts up to 2000 hours. Regarding projection size, the value of 2600 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 518 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 345 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. Specifically for the educational or business sector, an interactive whiteboard function is also integrated. Since entering the market in 2008, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model. In our projector directory, the device still generates high interest.
