A projector from 3M is the MP 8625, whose LED-LCD model delivers 600 ANSI lumens, a resolution of SVGA 800 x 600 and a contrast of 100:1. In operating mode, the installed projector lamp offers a lifespan of 2000 hours. Looking at practical performance, up to 213 cm can be illuminated with 600 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 142 cm. The projector was released in 1999 and is officially no longer distributed by 3M.

Standard-Portabel | External training and company presentations, as well as product presentations. Small screen width, rooms with very little ambient light below 50 lumens.
Positive:
- Lamp has now lasted for 2500h and is still bright
- Relatively bright, suitable for daylight (except direct sunlight)
- Good project ratio even at greater distances, approx. 2.15:1
- Good filter and easy to clean
Negative:
- Subjectively very loud
- Native resolution of 800x600 made smaller details or writing at project widths over 1.8m blurred
- Device disturbs when e.g. the satellite or DVBT tuner is in close proximity, at least with my device. This means that the sound is noisy and the picture shows faint streaks. This is not a problem if the picture and sound sources are >50cm away.
