The projector DMS 810 by 3M utilizes DLP technology and, according to the spec sheet, achieves 1500 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 1300:1 at a resolution of XGA 1024 x 768. According to 3M, the included lamp lasts up to 2000 hours. The image geometry can be adjusted via the built-in keystone correction so that a clean, rectangular display is achieved even with non-ideal placement. Regarding projection size, the value of 1500 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 337 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 225 cm. Also on board is a local media player that allows reading and playing content directly from storage media. Specifically for the educational or business sector, an interactive whiteboard function is also integrated. The projector was released in 2006 and is officially no longer distributed by 3M.
