The Lumina X80 model is a LCD projector from 3M, intended for Stationär applications, offering 4500 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 750:1 at XGA 1024 x 768. The manufacturer lists the lamp life at 2000 hours. Thanks to the combination of optical lens shift and digital keystone correction, the projected image's position can be adjusted very flexibly. To meet a wide variety of installation conditions, the projector offers the option of using different interchangeable lenses. Verifying the respective distances is easily possible via the Projection Calculator. Regarding projection size, the value of 4500 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 584 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 389 cm. Since entering the market in 2004, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.

3m X80 Beamer lamp ? BEamer picture is turning blue
Hello,... the picture is slowly turning blue. I don‘t know whether this can be remedied by changing the lamp (850 hours) or whether other parts need to be replaced.
I need the part as a solo entertainer and DJ. (Fortunately, I have 4 other devices, but this one was the most powerful). Is it worth replacing the lamp?

Lifespan only 1000 hours
The projector is OK, but the lifespan of the lamp is greatly exaggerated
after 1000 hours it‘s time to change it.
