According to Ricoh, the PJ X6181N model provides 7200 ANSI lumens, a contrast ratio of 6000:1 alongside a XGA 1024 x 768 resolution. In operating mode, the installed projector lamp offers a lifespan of 3000 hours. The presence of a lens shift function enables flexible vertical or horizontal positioning of the projector without digital interference. The optical system is designed for the use of interchangeable lenses, allowing for a tailor-made configuration for almost any throw ratio. The Projector Calculator is available to calculate the exact dimensions. Regarding projection size, the value of 7200 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 739 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 493 cm. Should very large projection surfaces be required, the integrated edge-blending software offers the possibility to seamlessly combine images from multiple projectors without visible seams. For media input, video signals up to 1080P as well as 3D are supported. Furthermore, the model supports 360° projections for highly flexible deployment scenarios. Also on board is a local media player that allows reading and playing content directly from storage media. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. The projector was released in 2015 and is officially no longer distributed by Ricoh.
