The projector PJ WX6181N by Ricoh utilizes LCD technology and, according to the spec sheet, achieves 6700 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 6000:1 at a resolution of WXGA 1280 x 800. In operating mode, the installed projector lamp offers a lifespan of 3000 hours. For precise setup, the device features a lens shift mechanism that allows for purely optical image shifting. The specifications identify the device as a model with an interchangeable lens option. Matching optional optics allow for exact adaptation to the required image size and projection distance, which can be calculated directly with the Projection Calculator. Looking at practical performance, up to 832 cm can be illuminated with 6700 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 555 cm. Should very large projection surfaces be required, the integrated edge-blending software offers the possibility to seamlessly combine images from multiple projectors without visible seams. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P as well as 3D. Furthermore, the model supports 360° projections for highly flexible deployment scenarios. As an additional feature, an integrated media player enables the direct playback of files without an external source device. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. This model dates back to 2015 and is no longer part of Ricoh's current product range.
