Based on DLP technology, the Ricoh PJ S2240 device delivers 3000 ANSI lumens, a resolution of SVGA 800 x 600 and a contrast of 2200:1 as a projector. According to Ricoh, the included lamp lasts up to 4500 hours. With two hours of daily operation, this corresponds to a period of 6.2 years. A look at the light output reveals: The 3000 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 477 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 318 cm. Since entering the market in 2014, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
