Categorized in the Short Distance segment, the PJ U3000 projector from Ricoh operates with 3300 ANSI lumens and a resolution of XGA 1024 x 768. The manufacturer rates the durability of the included lamp at 3000 hours. With its short projection distance, the short-throw model excels in smaller rooms, requiring only 58 cm of wall distance for an image width of 2 meters. Looking at practical performance, up to 500 cm can be illuminated with 3300 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 333 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P as well as 3D. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. The projector was released in 2022 and is officially no longer distributed by Ricoh.
