The XD50U model is a DLP projector from Mitsubishi, intended for Standard-Portabel applications, offering 1500 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 1500:1 at XGA 1024 x 768. The manufacturer rates the durability of the included lamp at 1500 hours. Looking at practical performance, up to 337 cm can be illuminated with 1500 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 225 cm. As an additional feature, an integrated media player enables the direct playback of files without an external source device. This model dates back to 2003 and is no longer part of Mitsubishi's current product range.
