The technical data of the Mitsubishi HC9000D (A) includes 1100 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 15000:1 as well as a HDTV 1920 x 1080 display. The manufacturer rates the durability of the included lamp at 4000 hours. A daily usage of 2 hours makes an operational lifespan of 5.5 years possible. To facilitate room installation, the device is equipped with mechanical lens shift and additional keystone correction. Precise setup distances can be determined in the Projector Calculator. Looking at practical performance, up to 337 cm can be illuminated with 1100 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 225 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P as well as 3D. Since entering the market in 2010, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model. This model continues to hold a solid place in our database search queries.

Have had the projector for about 3/4 year now and am extremely satisfied. The build quality is second to none and the solid glass look is also top class. The lens shift function is motorized, as are the focus and zoom. The black levels are as good as a CRT projector, the picture is very balanced and vivid. The 3D image is also very good, and the Mitsubishi reveals its strengths here too thanks to the integrated intermediate image calculation. I would put the projector on a par with the SONY HW30 in terms of picture quality, but rate it higher in terms of the workmanship of the optics and the motorized additional functions. Super device at a partly bargain price and addictive potential!
