The HL650U model is a LCD projector from Mitsubishi, intended for Standard-Portabel applications, offering 3100 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 600:1 at SXGA+ 1400 x 1050. The manufacturer rates the durability of the included lamp at 2000 hours. To compensate for angled projection positions, the model features 2D keystone correction, which digitally corrects trapezoidal distortion. Thanks to the interchangeable lens system, the device can be equipped with optional lenses to react flexibly to different room sizes. Exact values for specific rooms are provided by the Lens Calculator. Regarding projection size, the value of 3100 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 485 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 323 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. This model dates back to 2007 and is no longer part of Mitsubishi's current product range.

In the dark I would advise to operate the device in ECO mode because the 19:9 bars are otherwise slightly gray (black level), otherwise simply mask the picture and enjoy TOP For Full HD playback, we recommend using a player that is zoom-capable so that you can scale the 16:9 picture to 4:3 (for native resolution),
then you have a real Full HD feeling
