As a projector for the Standard-Portabel sector, the Mitsubishi X490U is equipped with 2600 ANSI lumens, a XGA 1024 x 768 resolution and a contrast of 400:1. In operating mode, the installed projector lamp offers a lifespan of 2000 hours. The specifications identify the device as a model with an interchangeable lens option. Matching optional optics allow for exact adaptation to the required image size and projection distance, which can be calculated directly with the Projection Calculator. Regarding projection size, the value of 2600 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 444 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 296 cm. Additionally, a built-in ambient light sensor measures the room lighting and automatically adjusts the projection settings.
