Based on DLP technology, the Mitsubishi WD720U projects images in a Standard-Portabel environment, with technical specs listing 4300 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 3000:1 and a WXGA 1280 x 800 resolution. The manufacturer rates the durability of the included lamp at 3000 hours. Regarding projection size, the value of 4300 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 666 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 444 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P. Also on board is a local media player that allows reading and playing content directly from storage media. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. Since entering the market in 2012, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
