The WD385U EST model is a 3D-BrilliantColor-DLP projector from Mitsubishi, intended for Whiteboard applications, offering 2800 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 3000:1 at WXGA 1280 x 800. According to Mitsubishi, the included lamp lasts up to 3000 hours. A look at the light output reveals: The 2800 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 538 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 359 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P are supported. As an additional feature, an integrated media player enables the direct playback of files without an external source device. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. Specifically for the educational or business sector, an interactive whiteboard function is also integrated. The projector was released in 2012 and is officially no longer distributed by Mitsubishi. This model continues to hold a solid place in our database search queries.
