Behind the name U5230 is a 3D-BrilliantColor-DLP projector by Acer, whose main features include 3200 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 18000:1 and a XGA 1024 x 768 resolution. In operating mode, the installed projector lamp offers a lifespan of 4000 hours, achieving a lifespan of 5.5 years when used for 2 hours a day. With its short projection distance, the short-throw model excels in smaller rooms, requiring only 66 cm of wall distance for an image width of 2 meters. Looking at practical performance, up to 493 cm can be illuminated with 3200 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 329 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content as well as 3D. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. Equipped with a microphone jack and built-in speakers (16W), audio signals during presentations can be played back directly without an external audio system. This model dates back to 2019 and is no longer part of Acer's current product range. However, it remains one of the frequently accessed models in our database.
