Based on DLP technology, the Acer P5205 projects images in a Standard-Portabel environment, with technical specs listing 4000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 2500:1 and a XGA 1024 x 768 resolution. In operating mode, the installed projector lamp offers a lifespan of 2000 hours. Regarding projection size, the value of 4000 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 551 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 367 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. A look at the data sheet confirms a very subtle fan noise for the projector at just 29 decibels. The projector was released in 2010 and is officially no longer distributed by Acer.
