The Acer HL6510ATV is a 3D-DLP projector offering 5000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 50000:1 and a resolution of HDTV 1920 x 1080. This is a laser projector with a light source designed to last for 30000 hours – calculating to 20.5 years at four hours of use per day. The image geometry can be adjusted via the built-in keystone correction so that a clean, rectangular display is achieved even with non-ideal placement. Looking at practical performance, up to 718 cm can be illuminated with 5000 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 479 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P as well as 3D are supported. Thanks to Android TV, the device features an intuitive user interface with direct access to popular streaming apps. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. Thanks to support for Miracast and Airplay, screen content can also be cast wirelessly from a smartphone, tablet, or PC to the screen.
