With the P1655, Acer offers a 3D-DLP projector that features 4000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 10000:1 and a resolution of WUXGA 1920 x 120. In operating mode, the installed projector lamp offers a lifespan of 4000 hours, achieving a lifespan of 5.5 years when used for 2 hours a day. The image geometry can be adjusted via the built-in keystone correction so that a clean, rectangular display is achieved even with non-ideal placement. Looking at practical performance, up to 643 cm can be illuminated with 4000 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 429 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content as well as 3D. Thanks to MHL support, screen content from mobile devices can be transmitted via cable, including charging power for the device. Since entering the market in 2019, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
